Cafe Dindee カフェディンディー Chiang Mai, Thailand

On March 14, we visited Cafe Dindee, an adobe cafe in Chiang Mai.

The atmosphere was great and the food was excellent. Cafe Dindee is run by Ayumi, a Japanese expatriate. Thank you Ayumi for the warm hospitality and for making our visit possible!

3月14日カフェディンディーという日干し煉瓦で建てられたカフェを訪ねました。

雰囲気が良くて、食事も美味しかったです。お勧めです。ディンディーはあゆみさんという日本人に運営されています。あゆみさん、色々ありがとうございました！

Cafe Dindee was hosting an earth building photo exhibit. There were three themes:

1. Completed earthhomes
2. The earth building prosses
3. Living in an earth home

A photo I took in Suwon Korea won the first category, completed earth homes!

その時カフェディンディーが土建築写真展を主催しました。テーマが三つあって、

① 完成した土の家
② 土の家の建築風景
③ 土の家と共に暮らしている人々やそのライフスタイル

おかげさまで、韓国で撮った写真が受賞しました。

In the evening I gave a presentation on straw bale and earth building.

夜にストローベイル建築と土建築について講演しました。
